We designed and built the website for Portsmouth Black History Group, creating a digital platform that helps celebrate, preserve and share the city’s rich and diverse Black heritage.

The site includes a dedicated events calendar for upcoming activities, alongside a growing archive of past events, making it easy for visitors to explore both what’s happening now and what has come before. A key feature is the archive itself, which allows the organisation to showcase stories, articles, photos and historical material – with built-in functionality for the community to contribute their own content and help expand the collection over time.

Alongside the website build, we also created the Portsmouth Black History Group logo, giving the project a distinctive visual identity to support its mission online and beyond.
